Three-day national conference uniting 2,000+ VA and DOD leaders, clinicians, and advocates in a mission-driven environment designed to inspire collaboration, innovation, and action in suicide prevention.
THE ASSIGNMENT
To transform the Oregon Convention Center into an immersive, multi-day conference environment for the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense Suicide Prevention Conference — uniting over 2,000 attendees across 200 breakout sessions, exhibitor spaces, and plenary gatherings.
Future View was tasked with reimagining the entire technical production — from conceptual 3D visualization to live execution — ensuring every session reflected the event’s theme: Reimagining Suicide Prevention: Evolving and Innovating to Meet Diverse Needs.
2,000+ in-person attendees, 2,400+ total registrants
3D visualization & full AV redesign of main hall and breakout spaces
Multiple tractor-trailers of equipment, coordinated across VA, DOD, and contractors
OUR SOLUTION
Our Engineering and Creative teams collaborated with VA and DOD leadership nearly ten months in advance to reimagine the production design from the ground up.
Through detailed 3D renderings and CAD layouts, Future View helped the client visualize how the event could look and feel — leading to a full redesign of the room flow, projection setup, and stage architecture. Once stakeholders saw the visual models, the direction changed entirely — from a standard conference setup to a dynamic, immersive environment built for engagement.
Our Audiovisual team deployed multi-screen projection mapping, large-format displays, broadcast-grade audio systems, and precision lighting across multiple rooms. Load-in was executed with multiple tractor-trailers of equipment, coordinated among government, contractor, and security teams.
The event ran seamlessly across three days, hosting keynotes, fireside chats, and more than 200 breakout sessions, all designed to keep the message — and the mission — at the forefront.
